The Magic Journal Project

The Magic Journal Project is a collaborative online journal written by magical performers from around the world. The aim of the project is to encourage performers of all levels to blog about their magical thoughts, feelings and experiences.

The journal includes several fascinating Performance Reports—short articles about a real-world performance of magic. In these reports, the author is asked to discuss a recent performance of magic and reflect upon the experience.

Over time, we hope that the Magic Journal Project will become a valuable learning resource for all students of magic. By reading the entries that make up this one-of-a-kind journal, you'll be able to tap into the collective knowledge of the global magic community!

If you'd like to be part of the project, and contribute blog posts to the site, you need to do two things:

  1. Register with the site (or log in if you're already a member).
  2. Send a message to Marty asking to be part of the project.

Alternatively, you can get involved with this project by simply posting your performance stories to social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, and tagging the content with the hashtag #MagicJournalProject.
